What is Resin?
What is Resin, and why use it?
Resin drives / paths consist of a stone aggregate mixed with resin to form a hard wearing and yet permeable surface, that is available in a range of colours and designs to suit any purpose.
Being permeable resin drives allow water to soak through into the sub-layer beneath, as such it’s vitally important the underlying layers are also permeable, resin should not be laid on concrete or other non-permeable surfaces.
Resin drives and paths provide a long lasting, good looking surface, which is both anti-slip and frost resistant, as such it’s in high demand. But it must be laid correctly, on the correct (permeable) sub-surface, mixed to the right consistency in the correct conditions and laid evenly and smoothly, something that takes skill and experience.
